Here's an updated photo of the three kids that I just took. I'll be posting more pictures soon! Brady's been busy losing teeth and driving his ATV. He's doing well and enjoying 2nd grade, which is really nice to see. He recently earned his 75-point medal for the Accelerated Reading program, and is very proud of himself. Hayley recently took the Accelerated Reading test at school, and is now able to accrue points for reading books. She's the only one in her kindergarten class who's done this! And she's starting to get her permanent teeth in, even though she hasn't lost any baby teeth yet. Brookie is scooting everywhere, and she's very close to officially crawling. She absolutely loves her big brother and big sister, and she gets very excited when she gets to see them after school. She still only has two teeth, but is using them to try all sorts of fun new foods. So I guess the common theme at our house is teeth, whether they're coming or going.

Brooke!

The weather has been great, so Brooke's trying out her new Spring wardrobe. I even managed to clip a bow onto her comb-over.

Hayley's Haircut!

Hayley had her first real haircut today, and she made us very proud. Her school had a big event to support Locks of Love/St. Baldricks. She decided she wanted to donate her hair to Locks of Love, an organization that makes wigs for kids that have lost their hair due to disease or chemotherapy. Hair donations have to be a minimum of ten inches, so she knew her hair was going to end up pretty short, but she really wanted to do this. Not only did she donate her hair, but she got sponsors and raised $140 for the charity as well. We may be biased, but we think Hayley's a pretty amazing kid! On her way to the multi-purpose room for the big haircut!
This is the group from Hayley's class that participated in the event. She and the other little girl, Destiny, each donated ten inches of hair. The boys (including Hayley's teacher in the middle here) each shaved their heads to support St. Baldricks. Although their hair could not be donated, they raised money through sponsors to donate to the charity. The boy on the left, Colby, raised over $1000!

Going, going...

The local news station covered the event, and Hayley was live on the news at noon!

Spring Has Sprung

This is Brady's new ATV. He bought it himself after he'd saved up all his birthday money, Tooth Fairy money, and birthday gift cards. Once in awhile, he'll even let Hayley hop on for a ride!
We went to the park for a picnic last week.

Brooke is modeling the jeans that Grandpa picked out for her!

It was sunny and warm here today, so Hayley seized the opportunity to put on a bathing suit and have some fun in the water!
